Magswitch Technologies Welcomes Randy Tackett as Key Account Manager, Automation
Superior, Colorado – October 2025 – Magswitch Technologies is pleased to announce the addition of Randy Tackett as Key Account Manager, Automation. With more than 30 years of experience in automation equipment sales, engineering management, and industrial process solutions, Randy brings a wealth of technical and commercial expertise to the Magswitch team.
In his new role, Randy will be responsible for managing and growing Magswitch’s most strategic automation accounts. He will focus on building long-term relationships with key OEMs and system integrators, delivering exceptional customer value, and driving revenue growth through smart and scalable automation solutions. Randy will also collaborate across business units to introduce and cross-sell products from Magswitch’s Fabrication and Heavy Lifting Systems divisions as customer needs evolve.
Prior to joining Magswitch, Randy served as Business Development Manager at Century Automation, where he led sales for turnkey custom automation projects ranging from $20,000 to $5 million, including robotics, material handling, vision systems, and assembly applications. He previously spent more than a decade with Krauss Maffei Corporation in roles spanning Project Management and Regional Sales Management, overseeing multimillion-dollar polyurethane injection and molding projects across North America. Earlier in his career, Randy held leadership positions in manufacturing and operations management, driving lean process improvements and customer growth initiatives
