Return Policy

We want to ensure that our customers are happy with their purchase. Magswitch customers are covered by a 48-hour return window from time of receipt and must contact our Customer Service team at cs@magswitch.com as a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns. Returns without an RMA will be declined and sent back to sender.

The product(s) must be returned in New and Unused Condition, including original manufacturer packaging, tags, documentation, and all accessories/parts. You can return your item for a refund of the item price, less any shipping fees. You will need to cover shipping back to us. Returns will be subject to a 25% restocking charge. The original shipping cost will not be refunded.

Repair Policy

  1. No repairs will be completed without a valid RMA number issued prior to receipt of product.
  2. RMA number will be issued after this form is received. The RMA number must be referenced in all future correspondence and shipments.
  3. There is a $50 evaluation fee to diagnose damaged products. If the item is under warranty the charge will be waived. If the item is not under warranty, it will be added to the final cost of repair. If you choose not to have the items repaired you are still responsible for the $50 fee.
  4. We have a 24-hour turnaround to quote a price for repair cost and lead time after the product is received.
  5. If the items being sent in for repair are not under warranty, price of repairs will be discussed before repairs are completed.
  6. Your repair will be shipped back in the same manner it was shipped to Magswitch. If you would like your product returned to you in another way, you will be responsible for the difference in cost between the original method of shipment and the form of shipment you choose. (i.e. Sent UPS Ground, return UPS Priority Overnight.)

What does on backorder mean?

If an item is temporarily out-of-stock, it displays a status of "On Backorder" at the top of the item's page. An item listed as "On Backorder" is available for purchase but is not in stock and not available to ship. We provide an estimated arrival date for inventory to be in-stock. However, the estimated date is only an estimate and we do NOT guarantee our inventory will be in-stock and prepared for shipment by the estimated date.

In the instance of a "Backorder", our Customer Service team will email you with the option to hold the entire order until all items are in stock to ship or to ship in-stock items and at a later date, ship the back ordered items once the items are back in-stock. Backordered items cannot be expedited and will ship via the shipping service of our choice as soon as they are available. If an order is shipped in multiple packages, we do Not charge for the split shipment.

- International Note: Due to customs regulations, we cannot partially ship international orders. In the instance of a "Backorder", Customer Service will send you an email offering to ship your entire order once all items are available or to cancel your order with a full refund.

What does Pre-Order mean?

If an item is temporarily out-of-stock, it displays a status of "Pre-Order" at the top of the item's page. An item listed as "Pre-Order" is available for purchase but is not in stock and not available to ship. We provide an estimated arrival date for inventory to be in-stock. However, the estimated date is only an estimate and we do NOT guarantee our inventory will be in-stock and prepared for shipment by the estimated date.

In the instance of a "Pre-Order", our Customer Service team will hold the entire order until all items are in stock to ship.

What is California Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 requires sellers to supply California consumers with a warning prior to purchasing products which can contain the hazardous chemicals identified in the list compiled at http://oehha.ca.gov/prop65/prop65_list/Newlist.html.

Due to the durable, industrial construction of Magswitch tools, almost all of our products can expose consumers to chemicals including nickel, tetrafluoroethylene, and toluene that are known to the state of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm. While most of our products contain these chemicals within their housing, there are a select few products with exposed surfaces which can bring these chemicals into dermal contact. Any tool with an EH or UH (high temperature) designation will have a nickel plating to ensure corrosion resistance at higher temperatures, so we advise wearing gloves when handling them. Many Magswitch Industrial Solutions feature nickel plating, Teflon gaskets, and acrylic sealant which require warnings but are equally important for tool durability.

Proposition 65 also requires that consumers are warned about the hazards of exposure to wood dust. While most of our woodworking tools do not generate wood dust, they may be used on table saws and other tools which do. Remember that drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products can expose you to wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Avoid inhaling wood dust or use a dust mask or other safeguards for personal protection. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/wood.
